This Paleo Pineapple Guacamole is sweet with some heat! It makes a great appetizer with some grain free chips, or serve it on top of grilled salmon or chicken! Gluten free and dairy free.

Paleo Pineapple Guacamole

Guacamole (and avocados in general) are my love language! This Paleo Pineapple Guacamole is a delicious spin on classic guac. The sweetness from the pineapple plus the heat from the jalapeños is the perfect combo! Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, and this is definitely going on the menu here!

What You Need to Make This Paleo Pineapple Guacamole

You only need a few fresh ingredients to make this yummy appetizer!

  • Avocados – make sure they are ripe but not too ripe/brown! You want to be
  • Jalapeno
  • Pineapple
  • Red onion
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Lime
  • Cilantro

I used fresh pineapple, but canned works, too!

In terms of my favorite grain free tortilla chips, I love Trader Joe’s! Siete Foods and Late July Foods are also yummy. Thrive Market has some grain free chips, as well!

How to Make This Paleo Pineapple Guacamole

First, mash your avocados in a large bowl. Then, add in the remaining ingredients and stir well. That’s it! The hardest part about this meal is all of the chopping. No cooking required!

It may get brown in the fridge overnight, so guacamole is best made fresh and right before you plan to serve it.

How to Serve This Pineapple Guacamole

I love it with chips as an appetizer, or on top of grilled salmon or grilled chicken! It would also be yummy on top of fish tacos!

As a lover of all things pineapple and avocado, this recipe caught my eye. I was admittedly a bit unsure at the thought of them together but it was phenomenal, even without jalapenos. The flavors blend so well and leave you wanting more. I have yet to try any of Mary’s recipes we haven’t absolutely loved, and this is no exception. It’s simple but oh so perfect!
