Ingredient Notes

ingredients for healthy big mac sauce

See the recipe card below for a complete list of ingredients!

Greek Yogurt: This is the creamy base of this Big Mac Sauce recipe. It is a great low fat and high protein replacement for mayo. Feel free to use mayo if you have a dairy allergy! I like to use non-fat, plain Greek yogurt.

Ketchup: I try to use sugar free brands like Primal Kitchen. Ketchup is not usually included in homemade Big Mac Sauce recipes, but I like to add it for flavor and color.

Pickle relish: I love to use sweet pickle relish. Dill pickle relish also works. You can find this in the condiment section of your grocery store. It adds the best tang and crunch to this sauce!

Coconut aminos: This is a great gluten free replacement for soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce. It also adds a nice sweetness to this sauce. You can sub Worcestershire if you have a gluten free brand on hand.

Yellow mustard: Dijon will also work well here!

Spices: salt & paprika – this adds a bit of a smoky flavor and also color to this burger sauce. Feel free to add in some garlic powder and onion powder for additional savory flavors.

What To Serve With Big Mac Sauce

I love drizzling this sauce on all things burger-related, but it’s also great with Air Fryer Potato Wedges and my Copycat Chick Fil A Nuggets (the best chicken nuggets ever)! I bet onion rings would be amazing dipped in this sauce. It can also be used as a replacement for french dressing or Thousand Island dressing in my Reuben Bowl recipe. Try drizzling it on hot dogs – super delicious!
