Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops 1.5 inches thick. See notes below for bone-in
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp ground mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 for 4 minutes (if preheating is required for your model).
  • Combine the olive oil and coconut aminos in a large bowl and whisk until combined. Add the pork chops to the bowl and toss to coat in the oil mixture. Let them marinate while you make the spice rub.
  • Combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and ground mustard in a bowl and mix. Remove the pork chops from the oil mixture and coat both sides of each pork chop with the spice rub (there should be just enough for all 4). Press down using your fingers.
  • Cook the pork chops for 9-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees internal temp. The timing will depend on the thickness of your pork chops. Mine were perfect around 11 minutes and they were 1.5 inches thick. Let them rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve!

Mary’s Tips & Tricks

  • Air fryer bone-in pork chops cook a bit longer - up to 15 minutes total. Flip after 6 minutes and continue cooking for 6-9 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145F.

Storage Tips

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the air fryer with a little olive oil cooking spray to coat the air fryer basket.
