No Mess, Perfectly Baked Bacon

My fail-proof method for baking bacon so it gets perfectly crispy every time, without the mess!

  • Preheat oven to 400. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Place bacon strips about 1/2 inch apart in a single row on the baking sheet. Put the pan into the oven (you don't need to wait for it to fully pre-heat). The amount of time will depend on the brand and thickness of your bacon, but set the timer for 10 mins and watch it from there. Usually mine is perfectly crispy around the 12-13 min mark.
  • Remove the bacon from the oven and transfer each piece to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Let it cool/drain for 2-3 mins, then enjoy! And also enjoy the fact that all you need to do to clean up is throw away the parchment paper - VOILA!
