Healthy Apple Crumble

This easy Fall recipe is a better-for-you version of a beloved classic. Featuring all the traditional flavors, this Healthy Apple Crumble is the dessert of the season- deliciously ooey gooey with a crunchy crumble topping, you will love every bite!

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375. Spray a 10.5" x 7.5" rectangular baking dish with cooking oil (I used a white Staub brand dish but any dish will work).
  • Combine the filling ingredients in a bowl and mix until combined. Set aside.
  • Combine the topping ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork until it turns into a crumb consistency with small chunks.
  • Sprinkle the topping evenly on top of the apple mixture.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until bubbling around the edges. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Dairy Free/Vegan: This healthy apple crumble recipe is entirely dairy free and vegan. If you're okay with dairy, you can substitute regular butter instead of the vegan alternative.
Easy Sugar Swaps: If you'd prefer to use brown sugar, you can swap that out for coconut sugar. Just be mindful that it won't be as "healthy" if you use regular brown sugar. If you'd like a lower sugar option, swap out the coconut sugar for brown sugar Swerve.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Warm up in the microwave when ready to serve.
How to Serve: Serve warm, topped with your favorite vegan vanilla ice cream (or regular vanilla if you prefer!).
