  • 3 oz blanco tequila
  • 2 oz passionfruit pulp or juice see below for tips on pulp!
  • 1.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1.5 oz fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 oz agave nectar or honey syrup (see below for how to make)

  • Add ice to a cocktail shaker along with the tequila, passionfruit pulp (or juice), lime juice, orange juice, and sweetener of choice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.

Mary's Tips & Tricks

  • Make a Pitcher: To make a pitcher of margaritas, click "print recipe" below and change the quantity to 12. The recipe will adjust all ingredient quantities to make the perfect pitcher of this delicious cocktail!
  • Sweetener Alternative: If you don’t want to make the honey simple syrup, feel free to substitute it with agave instead.
  • Triple Sec: In most margarita recipes, tequila and orange liqueur are combined to add a deliciously sweet citrus flavor. I used fresh orange juice, but If you want, you can also add ½ ounce of Triple Sec or Grand Marnier (or your favorite orange-flavored liqueur) to make this drink a bit stronger.
  • Passion Fruit: There are so many versions of passion fruit juice out there. Feel free to use nectar, puree, or even fresh passion fruit if you have it!

Serving Tips

  • Serve this cocktail by rimming the glass with salt, and garnishing with a tropical flower, lime wedge, or umbrella!
