Delicious low-carb Greek burgers with dairy free tzatziki sauce, tomato and red onion, sandwiched between lettuce buns!

I’m excited to be partnering with True Aussie Beef & Lamb for this recipe! I am always looking for new ways to use ground beef, and this may just be one of my new favorites. I am a big Greek food fan, and these burgers take things to a whole new level. Tender Aussie Grassfed Beef burger patties (with red onion and Greek seasonings) grilled to perfection, then topped with tomato, red onion, and dairy free Tzatziki sauce! I used lettuce buns to keep it low carb/Whole30 friendly, but feel free to use regular buns, if desired.

LET’S TALK AUSSIE GRASSFED BEEF:

Australia produces some of the highest quality, healthiest, and most nutritious beef and lamb in the world. They keep care for both the animals and the environment at the core of everything they do. Which is why I am proud to be working with them!

With cattle raised predominately on pasture, Australian grassfed beef products are lean and naturally contain 13 essential nutrients required for good health, including Iron, Zinc, Omega-3 and B vitamins. Grassfed beef is naturally leaner, and it tends to cook about 30% faster than traditional meat.

My husband is doing the Keto diet right now, so a lot of our meals are looking lower carb these days! I actually don’t mind it – I am feeling less bloated and all around better. However, I am still enjoying carbs in moderation. When eating a high fat, high protein, low carb diet, it is really important to eat quality, Grassfed, and organic meat! I was surprised how easy it is to find Aussie Grassfed meat in most grocery stores around me.

If you are not doing a Whole30 and you tolerate a bit of sheep’s milk cheese, these are AMAZING with the addition of feta cheese in the burgers!! You can also add some to the tzatziki sauce.
